About Us

The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. was founded in 1996.  The organization is a volunteer board of directors that assists the children of Fannin County year-round and especially at Christmas.

The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. provides Christmas to the underprivileged children of Fannin County.  We provide a winter coat, two outfits of clothing, a package of socks, a pair of shoes, a package of underwear and at least three toys/wish list items to every child.  Since 2014 we have provided Christmas to over 4,700 Fannin County children.

The organization also awards The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. Wishes Come True Scholarships to seniors at Fannin County High School each year.   Of all the donations we give each year, being able to award these scholarships is one of our favorite ways to help the children in our community.

Throughout the year we also assist with other needs of Fannin County children including providing donations to Fannin County schools, community improvement projects and assisting in cases of house fires, parent deaths, medical expenses, and other unforeseen tragedies.
