what we do

The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. provides Christmas to the underprivileged children of Fannin County.  We provide a winter coat, two outfits of clothing, a package of socks, a pair of shoes, a package of underwear and at least three "wish list" items to every child.  In 2016 we provided Christmas to 518 Fannin County children, spending approximately $58,000. Over the last 3 years, we have provided Christmas to over 1,600 Fannin County children.

We also award scholarships to Fannin County High School seniors each year.  Since 2015, we have awarded  $5,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors. Throughout the year we assist other needs of Fannin County children including providing school supplies to Fannin County schools, assisting in case of house fires, and other situations.
