The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. provides Christmas to the underprivileged children of Fannin County. We provide a winter coat, two outfits of clothing, a package of socks, a pair of shoes, a package of underwear and at least three "toys or wish list" items to every child. Since 2014 we have provided Christmas to 1,908 Fannin County children, spending approximately $208,911.61.
We also award scholarships to Fannin County High School seniors each year. Since 2015, we have awarded $11,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors. Throughout the year we assist other needs of Fannin County children including providing Wishes Come True Grants to Fannin County schools, assisting in case of house fires, and other situations.
The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. has been working hard all year at our thrift store preparing to help those less fortunate this Christmas. This process begins with our annual Application Process. This process is the time for those families seeking assistance this Christmas to apply. Our annual Application Process will be at the United Community Bank Blue Ridge Community Room and begin on Monday, October 22, 2018 and conclude on Saturday, October 27, 2018.

WHAT WE DO
The Fannin County Empty Stocking Program, Inc. was founded in 1996. The organization is a volunteer board of directors that assists the children of Fannin County year-round and especially at Christmas.
This process is a year-long endeavor which begins by overseeing all fundraising, operation our own thrift store, the application process for families in need, shopping for the children's requests, and the distribution of these items to the children/families before Christmas.
